I’m a graphic designer, actor, drag queen, artist and aspiring singer.
After being introduced to theatre in college I went to the UK to study European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College of speech and drama, there I learned about collaborative theatre and a plethora of different theatre practices based in Europe throughout the decades. During this time I also did an exchange program to DAMU in Prague where the focus was on puppetry but also did stage fencing, acrobatics, music and more. This has given me a firm foundation of theatrical experiences to build upon. I started a regular Drag show along with a good group of other performers called “Drag-Súgur”, this show brought on a resurgence in Drag in Reykjavík Iceland, where before there had been only a few known drag performers who rarely performed there is now a whole new generation of Drag Royalty, dozens of new performers that are currently shaping the landscape of Drag in Iceland. I recently finished my studies to become a graphic designer and am now a proud graduate with a BA in graphic design. I like to experiment with any new medium that I can get my hands on, so I like to see myself as a bit of a crafter as well as a designer. In my spare time I enjoy singing, preferably classic rock ballads, but have no specific training beyond a singing course during my studies as a graphic designer.
